At Ricami Veronica Taormina, each piece is crafted with care and dedication. Because our products are customized by hand or with custom machine embroidery, delivery times are slightly different than those for industrial products.
1. Processing and Production Times
• Each order requires a processing time ranging from 1 to 10 working days.
• During holiday periods (Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day), production times may be extended. In this case, you will be notified promptly.
2. Shipping Times (Transport)
Once your order is ready and packaged, we hand it over to the courier. Average delivery times are:
• Italy: 1 - 4 working days.
• Sicily: 1 - 3 working days.
• rest of the world: custom times based on location.
3. Shipping Costs
• At the customer's expense: Shipping costs are always paid by the buyer and are not included in the product price.
• Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are not fixed, but are automatically calculated in your cart during checkout. The amount varies based on the weight, volume of the package, and the final destination of the order.
• Transparency: You will be able to view the exact amount of shipping costs before proceeding to the final payment.
4. Customs Duties and Import Taxes (For Extra-EU Shipments)
• Recipient's Responsibility: For shipments to countries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or customs clearance fees may apply.
• Additional costs: These costs are not included in the product price or in the shipping costs paid on the site. All customs duties are the sole responsibility of the customer (recipient) and must be paid directly to the local authorities or the courier upon delivery.
• Customs Delays: We are not responsible for any delays caused by customs clearance procedures in the destination country.
5. Order Tracking
As soon as your package ships, you'll receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can track your delivery directly on the courier's website.
6. Delivery Address and Non-Receipt
• Make sure you provide a correct and complete address (house number, any name on the intercom or staircase).
• In the event of a failed delivery due to the recipient's absence, the courier will make a second attempt or leave the package at a collection point. If the package is returned to sender due to your negligence, you will be responsible for reshipping.
7. Package Integrity
Upon delivery, please check that the packaging is intact. If the package appears visibly damaged, please accept it with reservations by signing the courier's document and contact us immediately by email, attaching photos.
8. Shipping Insurance (Optional)
For greater peace of mind, we offer the option of insuring your package during transport:
• Optional choice: During the checkout phase, you can select the "Insured Shipping" option.
• What it covers: The insurance covers the loss or total damage of the package by the courier.
• Costs: The cost of the insurance service will be calculated and added to the order total if selected.
• What to do in case of problems: If you have chosen insured shipping and the package is damaged or lost, contact us immediately at taorminaricamiveronica@gmail.com.
For damaged packages, it is mandatory to sign "Reserve for Inspection Specifying the Damage" upon delivery (e.g., Package crushed/opened) and send us photos of the packaging within 24 hours.
